How to Book a Shipment for Your T-Hub Customer
This guide shows how to book shipments for customers from T-Hub.
Prerequisites:
- You have a free Terminal Africa account. Use this guide.
- Your account is verified. Use this guide.
- You will need T-Hub access.
- You have created a customer account on T-Hub.
Steps to Book a Shipment for your Customer
- Step 1: Log into your Terminal Africa account.

- Step 2: On the main menu by your left, navigate to Customers. You will see a list of all your customers.

- Step 3: Click on the name of the customer you want to book a shipment for.
- Step 4: The customer profile will be opened. Click on the ‘Book shipment’ button just under the customer's name.

- Step 5: The booking process starts, include the correct information for the sender’s, receiver’s and item details.

- Step 6: Under parcel 1, click on the ‘Add item’ button, and add the details of the package your customer wants to send.

- Step 7: Use the correct category, sub-category, and HS code.

- Don’t forget to use the volumetric weight of the package rather than the actual weight.
- Save the item. You can add other items to this parcel or you can add other parcels to this shipment if they’re all going to the same recipient.
- Step 8: Select a carrier for your shipment.

- Step 9: You can also insure your customer’s shipment. Meaning they’ll be covered if they are lost or damaged.

- Step 10: Review the details of the shipment and make payment.
