As a Business Acquisitions Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of our merchant network. You will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and acquiring new merchants to enhance our business ecosystem. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record in merchant acquisitions.
Market Research and Analysis
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential merchant segments and opportunities.
- Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to inform acquisition strategies.
Prospecting and Outreach
- Identify and target potential merchants through various channels, including online platforms, industry events, and partnerships.
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage and attract new merchants.
Relationship Building
- Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with merchants through effective communication and relationship management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for merchants, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to align merchant acquisition strategies with overall business goals.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Utilize data analytics to assess the performance of acquisition strategies and make data-driven decisions.
- Generate regular reports on acquisition activities, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure that all merchant acquisitions adhere to regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with new merchant partnerships.
